OUR TEAM

back-h.jpg

High Speed, Low Drag (HSLD™) began as a personal mantra—move fast, eliminate friction, execute with purpose. It evolved from a mindset into a mission: build athletes who perform with intention, live with discipline, and relentlessly pursue better. But more importantly, it evolved into a brand committed to doing things the right way.
I grew up in small-town Ohio, raised by a dairy farmer turned orthopedic surgeon who never let me forget that someone out there is always working harder than you. That lesson wasn’t motivational—it was identity. It shaped how I competed, how I studied, and how I approached medicine: preparation over talent, substance over noise, accountability over excuses. I learned early that performance isn’t built in the spotlight—it’s built long before anyone is watching.
As the owner, founder, and Director of Performance at HSLD™, I build athlete development systems grounded in integrity, mentorship, and evidence-based performance. I’m a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon, trained at the Cleveland Clinic with subspecialty training in orthopedic sports medicine at Orlando Health, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry prior to medical and surgical training, and CSCS training informing applied strength and conditioning. This background gives me a unique lens on human performance, injury prevention, and long-term durability.
We created HSLD™ because athletes deserve more than hype—they deserve truth, education, and support. In an era dominated by shortcuts, misinformation, and curated narratives, we stand for clarity, accountability, and long-term development.
We mentor athletes beyond the weight room.
We teach them how to train, recover, communicate, and lead.
We build athletes who can sustain high performance—not chase moments.
Our belief is simple:
When hard work, integrity, mentorship, and preparation align, athletes don’t just meet expectations—they rewrite them.
HSLD™ — High Speed, Low Drag.
Move fast. Cut friction. Chase better.
