High speed, low drag. What started as a personal mantra years ago, became something I wanted to bring to life. A phrase used by the military for years, to be high speed with low drag means to be highly efficient. In my life, it has meant trying to squeeze the most out of each day and I think sharing this mantra in the form of this brand is a way we can keep getting better together.

As the the son of a dairy farmer turned orthopedic surgeon in smalltown Ohio, I learned the meaning of hard work at a young age. Of all the things my dad has told me and will never let me forget, growing up I was consistently reminded “someone will always be out there working harder than you”. That constant reminder has stuck with me every step of my own journey. Whether I was on the mound, under center, at the free throw line, taking a test, or now in the operating room; I knew that the discipline, preparation and hard work I put in ahead of time would bring me through.

Just like in sports, we all have our physical and mental limitations in our day to day. I know I do. All you have control over is effort, and this mindset is what I believe has allowed me to do things and be in positions I never thought I could.
